Profile of Zug um Zug e.V.

Zug um Zug e.V. is a non-profit organization (e.V. = incorporated society), whose statutory mandate consists in offering socially unprivileged and unemployed adolescents and adults opportunities of qualification and occupation and support their integration into employment.

To reach the above mentioned goal, the society organizes pedagogically attended projects and other offers to the point of direct placement service.
 

These offers are especially characterized by:

• Offers of job-related and social integration
• Promotion of further education of staff and employees
• Guidance, education and information regarding questions of rehabilitation and drug problems
• Encouragement/Support of house-hunting
• Reduction of debts
• Prophylactic engagement for the prevention of delinquency, drug consume and homelessness

Zug um Zug e.V. works together closely with existing institutions and initiatives, who pursue the same or a related aims in promotion of employment as well as in community-oriented work with social and cultural perspective.

The Offers of Zug um Zug e.V. are oriented at the individual integration needs of the unemployed.  Zug um Zug develops individually suitable opportunities of integration.

According to the purpose Zug um Zug e.V. developed various offers for adolescents, adults and older unemployed. Some examples:

• Sprungbrett     
  Through cooperation with JobBörse Junges Köln and the consortium of institutions of the Sprungbrett-Trägerkonsortium a preventive and area-wide offer of individual and occupational orientation for jung adults has been developed. (to avoid dependence on welfare of young people)
• Fachberatung
  inbetween the group of young participants special needs have to be considered. This program provides a more intensive care especially for psychical instable adolescents and slow learners.
